BSUFL is a member of the Conférence Internationale d’Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interprètes (CIUTI), Consortium of Humanitarian Universities of the SCO Member States, Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU), as well as of the International Association of Universities which have signed the United Nations Memorandum of Understanding. BSUFL plays an active role in the Association for the Languages and Cultures of the CIS members and is a permanent member of the International Association of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL). Association of Teachers of English, Association of Teachers of German and Association of Teachers of French are functioning on the BSUFL basis. BSUFL has over 120 cooperation agreements with higher educational institutions from 29 countries of the world.
Living conditions for foreign students
International students are provided with accommodation in comfortable and well-furnished rooms of the University dormitories.
Application submission
Before arrival in the Republic of Belarus prepare documents for receiving an invitation to study at BSUFL
1. An application for an invitation addressed to the Rector of the university.
2. A copy of your valid for the period of study passport and its translation into Russian, certified by a notary.
3. A copy of the educational document, which indicates the subjects studied and grades (points).
For applicants to the 1st year – a document of secondary education (a college certificate or diploma).
A higher education diploma (Bachelor's degree) is required for applicants to the Master's degree program.
Educational documents, extracts from credit and examination records, executed in foreign languages and requiring a notarized translation, are subject to legalization in the state of issue of the documents.

4. Certificate of HIV-negative status issued by an official healthcare authority of the country from which the applicant has arrived.
5. Send all the documents mentioned above to ipo [at] bsufl [dot] by.
Students from African countries as well as students from military conflict areas, can apply with the help of the agents (recruiting companies) only.
Students of other nationalities can apply either on their own by providing the abovementioned documents directly to our e-mail ipo [at] mslu [dot] by, or with the help of the recruiting companies also.

Cultural life
The university has a large sports complex equipped with modern facilities that provide opportunities for athletic participation and physical training at all levels. International students can choose from a variety of sports: football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, fitness, athletics, gymnastics and taekwondo, among others. Tennis, fitness and aerobic facilities are also available in the halls of residence.
The students can develop their creative talents through a variety of activities: choral and pop singing, folk, modern and classical dance, youth drama theatre, instrumental music and a wide range of other activities.
