About University

Belarusian State University of Physical Culture is the only specialized institution of higher education in the country for training in the field of physical culture, sport and tourism.

The University provides all kinds of educational services: pre-university preparation, university postgraduate education, retraining and updating of specialists in the field of physical culture, sport and tourism.

BSUPC actively conducts basic and applied research on elite sports, mass sports, health-improving and adaptive physical culture, tourism, develops international relations with foreign education institutions, participates in sports competitions of various levels.

The university structure includes two sports and pedagogical faculties - mass sports and sports games and martial arts, the faculty of health-improving physical culture, the Institute of Sports and Tourism Management, the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Executives and Specialists in Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Higher School of Trainers center. The university also has a preparatory department, a master's degree program, a postgraduate program, a doctoral program, a dissertation defense council, a joint Belarusian-Chinese project "Confucius Institute" of BSUPC and a scientific and educational cluster "Intellectual Technologies in Sports". The university hosts international scientific congresses, conferences and seminars. Multifunctional sports facilities are a training base for students and host major, including international, competitions in various sports, national festivals, and youth forums. For the comfortable living of students, the University has three dormitories.

The University has extensive experience in international cooperation with sports Universities from China, Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Cuba, and other countries.
